Join us as we discuss books that take us to new places around the world!
For the month of November, we are visiting Japan before, during, and after WW2 as we read Memoirs of a Geisha, by Arthur Golden. The book is historical fiction, and brings to light the path of becoming a Geisha. Why are their faces white? Why are their teeth black? Are they prostitutes or indentured servants? If you are are curious, journey with us as we discuss this book on Wednesday, November 27 @ 2:00 pm.
